Kristen Bell is Returning as the Narrator for the ‘Gossip Girl’ Reboot
Kristen Bell is officially reprising her role as narrator for the rebooted Gossip Girl series!
Kristen has made her mark on the beloved television show for delivering iconic lines at the beginning of every episode: “Gossip Girl here, your one and only source into the scandalous lives of Manhattan’s elite… And who am I? That’s one secret I’ll never tell. You know you love me. XOXO, Gossip Girl.” She lent her voice for six straight seasons and even made a cameo playing herself at the series finale.
According to the producers of the reboot, “Kristen Bell has always been and will always be the voice of Gossip Girl.”
The reboot, which will be written by former showrunner Josh Safran for HBO Max, will take place eight years after the original blog site was taken down. It follows a new group of New York private school teens who are tormented by their own Gossip Girl and the added drama of social media.
It has yet to be announced when the new Gossip Girl will be aired. However, the HBO Max platform will be launched in May 2020.
