The Old Solo Now an Island

On the previous events that PKMN-ph: Pokémon Philippines have been holding, namely the Ultra Launch Event, the Launch Event for Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon, and the Let’s Go Philippines, the Launch Event for Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu and Pokémon Let’s Go Eevee, PKMN-ph: Pokémon Philippines has been doing it alone. This time, however, PKMN-ph: Pokémon Philippines have reached out to several communities to help make the newest event, the biggest it could be!

About the Partnerships

We at PKMN-ph: Pokémon Philippines have a goal to centralize the Pokemon Community in the Philippines but we know that we could not do it ourselves. This is why we have reached out to several outlets to make this dream come true.

A first in the Philippines

A sanctioned (officially recognized) event in the Philippines, especially for the Video Game Championships (Nintendo 3DS/Nintendo Switch) has been longed for by Filipino Trainers since the very start of this community. This time, we will hold the very first Video Game Championships and Trading Card Game sanctioned event in one site!

Returning Activities

In our previous events, we have held only Video Game Championships (Nintendo 3DS/Nintendo Switch) and Trading Card Game tournaments, in addition to a giveaway of copies of the newly released game. This time, we will include Pokémon GO and Pokkén Tournament DX as those games are also part of the Pokémon franchise and shall have their communities have their spotlight.

Not only do we have these tournaments for different platforms and giveaway copies of Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield, but we would also give away a Nintendo Switch Lite!

About PKMN-ph: Pokemon Philippines

PKMN-ph, which was more commonly known as Pokémon Philippines, started as a Yahoo! Group last April 2, 2006. It was created to make a haven for Filipino Pokémon in the web to interact and share their thoughts with each other. On May 5, 2006, a few days before Pokémon’s anime comeback in the Philippines, the first PKMN-ph website was born. Now known as PKMN-ph, the site has a new domain, new look and is under new management. It is still here despite the great downs because there are Filipino Pokémon fans that are willing to spend their time and effort to keep the Pokémon flame alive here in the Philippines. This is PKMN-ph, continuing our service for the people, uniting Filipino Pokémon fans around the world.
