Piling Obrang Vidyo 2020: Celebrate Philippine Cinema and watch stories unfold onscreen!
In 2019, Philippine Cinema celebrated a hundred years of narratives and ideologies, UP Cinema takes this film experience beyond the 100 years on screen. Another year brings forth onerous social realities, including even those once deemed inconceivable — a fresh set of alternative narratives waiting to be captured and told to a larger audience. With the medium of film as their arms and guide, Piling Obrang Vidyo yet again taps on our young filmmakers to become the couriers of these stories.
This coming 1st of February, join UP Cinema in celebrating Philippine Cinema’s thriving existence that celebrate the people’s narratives as Piling Obrang Vidyo brings you 20 short films from different colleges and universities.
