#WalangPasok: Isko Moreno Suspends Classes For Tomorrow, October 31
It’s going to be a super-long weekend for students of the City of Manila. Mayor Isko Moreno announced that classes in all levels, for public and private schools, have been suspended for October 31, 2019.
November 1 has been announced as a national holiday, in time for All Saints Day.
This means that students in Manila can enjoy Thursday and Friday off, on top of Saturday and Sunday.
Dagupan City in Pangasinan and Cotabato province have also announced suspension for all levels.
In Metro Manila, CIIT Philippines have suspended their classes, while those in UP Diliman have suspended classes for all levels starting 12 noon.
For schools, students in the following universities can enjoy a super long weekend: Cagayan State University, Baliuag University, University of Batangas, Lyceum of the Philippines University Batangas, Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation, University of Nueva Caceres, and Ateneo de Davao University.
Students are advised to check with their university for updates.
